More Turkey Hunting

Jessica's Dad had the opportunity to come to Norwood twice to Turkey hunt.  We saw a lot of turkeys!  The first weekend, Mom, Jenna, and Jade came as well.  It was nice to get out and have a day with my Dad.  The second weekend, just Dad came. Thanks Dad for coming!
Holli decided that Grandpa was an ok guy right before he left.  How cute!

Day 2 without Daddy

To keep the kids busy during their grumpy time, I chased one of the kids with the other kid in the laundry basket.  They thought it was so funny.  Once my legs turned to jelly, I pushed them both on the kitchen floor.  They liked this just as much!
Holli's briefcase.  She carries this all over the house like it is so important.  To her, it is!  See you tomorrow, Daddy!

Swiming Pool

We bought a small swimming pool at Target. Holli loves playing in it!
We lathered on the SPF 40 and played. By the way, use swim diapers! Love the big butt!
Holli pushing over Uriah. She loves having him over, but they do act like siblings! I guess God just forgot to give her one. :)
Pure Joy!

Colored Pudding, Peaunt Butter, Honey, and Holli!

Evenings are very rough around our house. Holli is done rough housing but still demands mom's full attention. Today, we decided to give her something messy to do and see how that affected the mood. We dyed vanilla pudding blue, green and red. Then we plopped peanut butter and honey onto her plate. This kept her happy and entertained for 30 minuets!!! Then there was the bath to clean her up, 10 minuets. Afterwards, her and Uriah rand like wild banshees around the house for another 40 minuets. Lets just say she begged to go to bed and Mom is sleeping while writing this, BUT THERE WAS NO CRYING HERE TONIGHT!

Bedtime story

Once upon a time, there was a chocolate pudding snack pack. He was just sitting in the pantry, minding his own business when, RIP. his top was pulled opened. He started to panic as he was carried away from his warm and dark home. His fears were calmed when he saw that there was a responsible adult feeding a one year old. He sat back to enjoy the ride. BUT something happened that he never thought he would see...The responsible mother turned her back!!!The HUNGRY one-year was determined to finish her snack and took control over the feeding. The Snack Pack once again relaxed seeing that the child was going to be nice and easy on him. Then the responsible mother turned back around to see the mess that her daughter had started. She said, "Ah, what the heck" and put the child into a booster seat. The child ate, and ate, and ate. THEN SHE...
Played, and played and played...
Smeared, and smeared, and smeared...
resulting in one of the biggest messes seen by the Snack Pack EVER!
The moral of the story is that the messier the child is, the happier she is, and that just makes life fun!
